Home-Work: Keep Your Feet Strong and Active with These Simple Exercises!

Maintaining strong and flexible feet is essential for reducing foot and ankle pain, decreasing muscle soreness, and staying active as you age.

We've found a fantastic video that guides you through five easy exercises, all of which can be done standing or while seated—perfect for seniors and those just beginning an exercise routine.

We recommend incorporating these exercises into your routine by doing them twice in one sitting, at least three times a week. You can do them after a warm-up or as part of any Yes2Next video session. Here's a quick overview of what you'll be doing:

  • Point/Flex/Circles 5x each foot

  • Heel Raises 5x

  • Ball of Foot Circles 5x each foot

  • Toe Curls 10x

  • Leg or Calf Stretch 20-30 second hold each leg

Give these exercises a try and experience the difference in how your feet feel!
